New Orleans Saints safety Terrence Frederick accidentally clocked a referee in the head with his shoulder during the fourth quarter of Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears.
The referee was placing the ball down on the line of scrimmage as both teams were lining up for the next play. Frederick apparently found himself on the wrong side of the field and ran through the middle of both teams to get to his designated spot on the field. Unfortunately, the referee picked his head up just as Frederick was running by and was hit in the head by Frederick's shoulder, which knocked him down to the ground.
Fortunately, after shaking it off, the referee was OK.
