Denver Nuggets center Timofey Mozgov suffered a bloody injury after taking a shot to the side of the face during the first quarter of Monday night's game against Charlotte.
Mozgov was hit just above his left eye by an accidental elbow from Bismack Biyombo underneath the rim as he made a move for the basket, opening up a nasty cut that gushed a lot of blood. Mozgov had to be taken out of the game immediately and the court had to be cleaned up.
The good news is that Mozgov returned to the game in the second quarter, so no one should be questioning his toughness.
