Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose sank a half-court shot to beat the buzzer that ended the first quarter of Wednesday night's game against Washington.
Rose took the inbounds pass from his own baseline with 2.8 seconds left, dribbled to half-court and got the shot off just before the buzzer sounded.
The incredible shot put the exclamation point on an amazing first quarter for Rose, who scored 17 points on 7-for-9 shooting, including three 3-pointers. Rose finished with 32 points for the game.
Unfortunately, the Bulls couldn't keep up the pace after Joakim Noah went down at the end of the first half with an ankle injury and could not return. The Wizards came away with a 105-99 victory.
