Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside had a standout performance in Sunday's 96-84 win in Chicago by scoring 14 points, grabbing 13 rebounds and blocking 12 shots.
Whiteside was rewarded with a postgame interview after his unconventional triple-double and implied that at least part of the motivation for his performance was to raise his ratings in the NBA 2K video game.
Well, Sunday's results certainly won't hurt Whiteside's ratings, but let's hope this isn't his only incentive to raise his game to a higher level.
