Zetterberg was checked into the boards while fighting for the puck in the corner near the Oilers net when the ad somehow came off the boards and became stuck to his shoulder. Zetterberg continued to play on offense until the Red Wings lost the puck, which gave him the opportunity to head to the bench and get himself sorted.
Zetterberg had an assist on a power play goal in the final minute of the game as the Red Wings beat the Oilers 4-2.
