New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to Danny Amendola on a trick play during the third quarter of Saturday night's AFC Divisional Playoff game against Baltimore.
Edelman took a backwards lateral pass from Brady, then threw the perfect forward pass to Amendola, catching the Ravens defense completely by surprise. Interestingly enough, Edelman played quarterback in college, but had never thrown a pass during his six year NFL career...until now.
The touchdown allowed the Patriots to pull even with the Ravens at 28-28.
H/T FTW.
