Dallas Mavericks point guard Rajon Rondo returned to TD Bank Garden for the first time since being traded from Boston and received a warm welcome from Celtics fans.
The Celtics played a touching tribute video on the scoreboard prior to the start of the second quarter, and Rondo was clearly touched by the gesture.
Rondo played for the Celtics for over 8 seasons before being traded to the Mavs two weeks ago. Rondo was a part of the 2007-08 NBA Championship Celtics team.
