The Seattle Seahawks arrived in Arizona Sunday to begin preparing for Super Bowl XLIX, and cornerback Richard Sherman didn't waste any time making headlines by taking shots at the NFL and the New England Patriots over "DeflateGate".
Sherman was particularly blunt when he was asked about his perception of the Patriots and how they seem to keep getting too close to the line:
“Will they be punished? Probably not. Not as long as Robert Kraft and Roger Goodell are still taking pictures at their respective homes. I think it was just at Kraft’s house last week before the AFC Championship, you know. Talk about conflict of interest.”That comment seemed to make the media happy, and Super Bowl Week is just getting started.
H/T FTW.
