The most recent report in the "DeflateGate" scandal reveals that a video exists allegedly showing a New England Patriots locker room attendant taking the team's 12 game balls into the bathroom for 90 seconds prior to the AFC Championship game. This would seem to be the only timeframe where a Patriots employee could have deflated the 12 footballs, but many wonder if that would even be possible in such a short amount of time.
However, according to a New York Daily News investigation, it only takes 2.2 seconds to take two pounds of pressure out of a fully-inflated football. Taking things a step further, reporter Gersh Kuntzman reenacted the alleged actions of the Pats employee by taking a bag of 12 fully-inflated footballs into a bathroom stall. Using a pin to release the two pounds air from each of footballs took only 40 seconds, and Kuntzman was in and out of the bathroom in 77 seconds, well under the 90 seconds that it apparently took for the Pats ball handler.
This seems very incriminating, and now you have to wonder how deep the NFL will dig to uncover the truth.
