In Chinese Super League soccer action Wednesday, Beijing Guoan FC’s Erton Fejzullahu was sent off in the 28th minute of their match against Brisbane Roar for stomping an opposing player in the chest.
Roar midfielder Adam Sarota was pushed to the ground by Fejzullahu as he tried to keep the ball away from him, and Fejzullahu added insult to injury with the foot stomp.
Fejzullahu tried to play it off like it was an accident, but the officials wouldn't buy it and and gave him the straight red card, forcing his team to play the rest of the match one man down.
Fortunately, Beijing Guoan overcame the disadvantage and won the match 1-0.
