Washington Capitals left winger Jason Chimera dropped Philadelphia Flyers center Zac Rinaldo with an uppercut to the face during the second period of Sunday's game at the Wells Fargo Center.
Chimera delivered the short right hand that dropped Rinaldo to his knees after they got tangled up near the Flyers bench.
Chimera was given five minutes for fighting and two minutes for roughing. Rinaldo was penalized five minutes for fighting despite never dropping his gloves.
In the end, however, the Flyers got their revenge by beating the Capitals 3-2.
