Los Angeles Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick destroyed his stick by smashing it on top of the crossbar after giving up a goal during the second period of Thursday night's game against Calgary.
Quick felt interference should have been called after getting tangled up with Flames forward Curtis Glencross in the crease while shots were coming towards the net. The Flames scored eventually and no penalty was called. Here's the play in question:
Fortunately, the Kings rallied behind Quick (and his new stick) and scored three third-period goals to come away with a 5-3 victory over the Flames.
