Maybe it was destiny, but on Valentine's Day, it couldn't be more appropriate for Michigan State Spartans junior guard Denzel Valentine to hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds left to beat the Ohio State Buckeyes 59-56.
Valentine led MSU with 17 points, shooting 5-9 on three-point attempts.
Too bad MSU doesn't have anyone named Patrick. They could use this kind of performance when March comes around.
