Washington Capitals defenseman Mike Green delivered a crushing check on Los Angeles Kings forward Kyle Clifford that sent him head over heels into the Capitals bench during the third period of Tuesday night's game at the Verizon Center.
Clifford was fine, but his ego has to be a bit bruised after that one:
The check by Green perfectly summed up the game as the Caps beat the Kings 4-0.
