With the NFL combine just around the corner, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell got into the spirit by running the 40-yard dash in one of the halls of the NFL office in New York City. Goodell finished with a time of 5.53 seconds.
Goodell's run wasn't just for fun, however, as it was part of NFL Network analyst Rich Eisen's campaign to help raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Eisen has been running the 40-yard dash in his work clothes at the combine for the past few years and is now using the annual "event" to raise money for the charity. NFL Network, Direct TV Under Armour have pledged $75,000 towards the #RunRichRun campaign.
The countdown is on, as Eisen will be running his annual 40-yard dash on Monday at 1PM.
