Detroit Pistons forward Shawne Williams threw a loose ball into the groin of New York Knicks forward Lou Amundson during Friday night's game at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
On a Pistons offensive possession, Williams saved a ball as it was about to go out of bounds, but his momentum was carrying him past the baseline, so he tossed it at Amundson, the closest defensive player. The ball bounced off Amundson's privates and out of bounds. Good for Williams as he saved the Pistons possession, but not good for Amundson and the Knicks.
It's painful enough for Amundson to be playing for one of the worst teams in the NBA. Now this happens.
