St. John's senior forward Sir'Dominic Pointer should be ashamed of himself after committing one of the most blatantly embarrassing flops ever on the basketball court during Tuesday night's game against Butler.
Pointer's flop came after a Butler basket as he was preparing to inbound the ball. Not only were there no players within three feet of him, but the nearest player was one of his Red Storm teammates, so there was no excuse.
Our solution for the flopping epidemic: start assessing technical fouls. Once these shameless flops start costing their team points, the players might cut down on the nonsense.
H/T FTW.
