Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Zach LaVine made his presence felt in Friday night's BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge game by driving the length of the court and finishing with a monster jam.
LaVine will be sticking around in NYC for the NBA All-Star festivities as he is a participant in Saturday night's Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, and he gave fans a sampling of what he has to offer with the thunderous one-handed slam dunk.
The only question we have is: Should this basket have counted? Wasn't that a double dribble? Take a closer look at it in slow motion:
LaVine scored 22 points for the U.S. team, but his team lost to the World team 121-112.
