In recent Campeonato Brasileiro soccer action from Brazil, Gremio FC fans went a little too far in their attempts to distract the opposing goalkeeper by shooting fireworks directly at him.
Their tactics seem to work as planned, as a loud firework went off just a few feet from the goalkeeper, causing him to dive away from it and opening up the net for an easy Gremio goal.
Fortunately, the officials justly disallowed it, as not only is this behavior downright dangerous, but it is clearly a blatant form of cheating. Goaltending is difficult enough without having to worry about dangerous objects being thrown at them from behind.
