Charles Barkley was exposed for his lack of college basketball knowledge during halftime of Sunday's NCAA Tournament Midwest Regional matchup between Kansas and Wichita State.
Kansas forward Cliff Alexander has been sitting out for over a month with eligibility issues. Sadly, however, Barkley said that Alexander was "playing pretty good" in the first half for the Jayhawks. Really?
That's a pretty embarrassing gaffe on Barkley's part. We know there are a lot of games going on and Barkley has a lot on his plate, but you would hope at the very least that Barkley would have read the game notes to know which players would not be on the court due to injuries or suspensions. Let's hope Barkley is better prepared next time.
