Harbaugh came into the game in the third inning wearing a full A's uniform and stayed there for the rest of the game.
Harbaugh is close with A's manager Bob Melvin, and Melvin was a guest of Harbaugh on the San Francisco 49ers sideline for a game last season. This was Melvin's opportunity to return the favor, and it allows Harbaugh to maintain his ties to the Bay Area.
