Cincinnati Reds outfielder Kyle Waldrop lost his shoe while legging out a triple during Friday night's Catcus League spring training game against the L.A. Dodgers.
In the top of the fourth, Waldrop ripped the extra-base hit to right center field and was halfway between second and third when his right shoe went flying off behind him.
The second base umpire was nice enough to return Waldrop's shoe to him, at which time Waldrop made sure to tie his laces extra tight. Hopefully Waldrop can chalk this up to a lesson learned so that it doesn't happen again.
