The Colorado Rockies executed the rare 6-5-3 putout on a ground ball during Monday's spring training game in Arizona against the L.A. Angels.
It happened in the top of the third with one out and a man on second. Angels batter Albert Pujols hit a grounder to short. Troy Tulowitzki threw the ball to Nolan Arenado at third to try to get the lead runner out, but Arenado wasn't on the bag to make the tag. However, Arenado had enough time (and awareness) to make the throw to first for the out. You don't see that every day.
