Two Guizhou Renhe teammates got into a shoving match over who should take a penalty kick during this past weekend's Chinese Super League soccer match against Shanghai Shenxin.
It happened in the second half with the match tied at 1-1 as Guizhou Renhe attacker Hyure was tripped in the penalty box, resulting in a spot kick attempt. Polish captain Krzysztof Maczynski and Brazilian Ricardo Santos got into a heated argument over who would take the kick, resulting in an extremely unusual and awkward situation.
Eventually it was decided that Maczynski would take the kick, but his shot was saved by the goaltender. It all worked out in the end, however, as Santos broke the tie in the 80th minute with the game winner, with Maczynski providing the assist.
