The big news on Friday in the NFL was Brandon Marshall being traded from the Chicago Bears to the New York Jets, leading Jets fans to look for Marshall on Twitter to welcome him to New York. Unfortunately, many of those messages were actually sent to Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall, who by now is used to the confusion.
Interestingly enough, ESPN SportsCenter made the same mistake without even realizing it as they searched for Brandon Marshall's reaction to the trade:
For future reference to everyone, the Twitter account for the newest member of the NY Jets is @BMarshall, who has yet to publicly comment on the trade.
H/T NIS.
So It wasn’t enough to have bears fans always blowing up my Twitter. Now I have Jets fans blowing it up.. This is a never ending journey lol
