In Ukranian Premiere League soccer action, Metalurg Donetsk midfielder Oleksandr Noyok made his case for worst flop ever with some incredibly shameless overacting during stoppage time in the closing moments of Sunday's match against Karpaty Lviv.
It started when Noyok was scraped in the knee by an opposing player's shoe. Noyok threw himself backwards as if he was hit in the face, then writhed around on the ground in pain as if he had been blinded by pepper spray.
After what seemed like an eternity of trying to earn sympathy from the officials to no avail, Noyok got up from the ground and resumed play as if nothing had happened. Either that or Noyok made an amazingly speedy recovery.
Noyok's simulation had no impact on the match, but with this video going viral, it will most definitely impact his reputation.
