An Oakland Athletics ballboy was hit in the head by a foul popup from third baseman Ike Davis during the fifth inning of Sunday's game against Houston.
The ballboy was in the A's bullpen area in foul territory near short left field. He tried to get out of the way, but he couldn't see the ball as it came down and bounced right off his head.
Fortunately, the A's ballboy was wearing a helmet and appeared to be perfectly fine. Good thing it was a popup and not a line drive.
