Costal Carolina University is in the process of installing a teal football field, and based on the photos, it actually might not look too bad:
We're generally not a fan of colored football fields, especially Boise State's bright blue and Eastern Washington's bright red fields. We're glad that NFL has nipped it in the bud before the trend spreads too far by insisting that all teams maintain green playing surfaces. However, this particular teal color that Costal Carolina will be using for the upcoming football season doesn't look too far off from green, so we might be able to live with it. We'll definitely be interested to see what the final product looks like.
