An Arizona Diamondbacks fan in the front row flipped over the railing in front of him to grab a foul ball during Monday's Opening Day game against San Francisco.
It happened in the bottom of the fifth as D-backs batter A.J. Pollock hit an 0-1 pitch foul on the third base side. The third base coach deflected the ball towards the stands. The fan came away with the ball, but landed hard on his side as he flipped onto the field while reaching for it.
A security guard opened a nearby gate to let him back into the stands, so we're guessing he got to keep his seat. If that's the case, he's real lucky, because in some places that's grounds for an automatic ejection from the stadium.
