Atlanta Braves starter Julio Teheran took a bite out of the baseball, literally, in the first inning of Thursday's game against the New York Mets.
Teheran was clearly frustrated with himself after walking three Mets batters to load the bases. After a talk with the Braves pitching coach, Teheran gave up a double to the next Mets batter and all three runners came around to score.
Teheran calmed down after that, but only lasted until the fifth inning and took the loss. The Mets completed a three-game sweep of the Braves with a 6-3 victory to extend their winning streak to 11 games.
