It was a complete failure for the fan, as not only did he take the embarrassing spill, but he failed to come up with the baseball.
The fan tried to play it cool by accepting applause and taking a bow while taking his time getting off the field. However, since fans aren't allowed on the field, we have to wonder whether the fan was ejected from the stadium or, at the very least, lost his front row seat. If anyone has this information, please pass it along.
