The Mavs beat the Rockets 121-109 to avoid a four-game sweep, but the game was extremely physical, with a total of 52 fouls and 5 technicals. Carlisle had just been fined $25,000 for criticizing the referees following Game 3. Carlisle wasn't going to take any chances getting himself into trouble again, so he brought the tape and used it when the question was asked.
