Sky Sports News reporter Iain Dowie struggled with some basic math during a live report Tuesday night while covering Chesterfield’s League One blowout of Colchester.
Dowie was on the air as Chesterfield scored their third goal, making the score 3-0. Dowie announced the score to viewers...while holding up four fingers. Wait, what?
Chesterfield went on to win 6-0. We can only hope that Dowie remembered to use both hands for counting that high. We're kidding, of course. We've all made mistakes, just not mistakes this embarrassing in front of thousands, if not millions, of television viewers.
