New York Yankees fans did their part to help out during a power outage in the 12th inning of Friday night's game against Boston by using their cell phone lights to help illuminate the field.
It wasn't a complete power outage, as only sporadic groups of lights went out around the stadium, but it was enough for the umpires to delay the game until it was resolved. The game was resumed after a 16 minute delay, but the creative attempt at a short-term solution devised by Yankee fans was pretty funny.
