In Venezuela, Carabobo FC striker Aquiles Ocanto was attacked during a live postgame interview by a fan who delivered a flying kick into his back.
Ocanto was talking with Maria Alexandra Bastidas of Meridiano Televisión following his team's scoreless draw with Aragua when the assault occurred.
An hour later, Carabobo FC reported via Twitter that Ocanto was OK and did not sustain any injury. No word yet as to whether security captured the fan who attacked Ocanto.
