Cubs fan holding baby makes one-handed catch, called for interference (Video)

A Chicago Cubs fan was called for interference during the second inning of Tuesday's game at Wrigley Field, but made an impressive one-handed catch on a foul popup with his bare hand while holding a baby in his other arm.

The dad reached over the tarp and into the field of play to rob Los Angeles Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez on his attempt to catch the foul ball hit by Cubs pitcher Jason Hammel. The fan was pretty proud of himself and received quite an ovation from the crowd, which had a much different reaction to a similar play by Steve Bartman during Game 6 of the NCLS back in 2003.

The Dodgers called for the replay, and after seeing the video, the umpires agreed that Gonzalez was clearly interfered with and called Hammel out. As far as the fan, normally interfering with a live ball normally leads to an ejection from the stadium, but the word is this Cubs fan was allowed to stay to watch the rest of the game.
