Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Victor Hedman appeared to accuse Chicago Blackhawks center Andrew Shaw of biting him during the second period in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Finals.
The video clearly shows Hedman put Shaw in a headlock during the scrum, but there's no visual evidence of any biting. However, when Hedman returned to the bench afterwards, he lifted his jersey to show the bruise to a trainer, saying "He bit me."
We can't have Andrew Shaw, or any player, biting anyone else. Not only is it a bad look for any adult (just ask Luis Suarez), but it's just not healthy. You would think that NHL players would be especially aware of the potential health risks after that mumps outbreak earlier this season.
