Washington Nationals pitcher Doug Fister had his wedding ring slip off his finger while throwing a changeup to strike out Tampa Bay Rays batter Evan Longoria to finish the first inning of Thursday's game in D.C.
Fister must have known immediately when it slipped off the finger in his glove. Fortunately, it didn't take him long to track down the ring laying on the mound. Otherwise, Fister could have been in some trouble.
