Francisco Lindor trips over base on first MLB hit (Video)

Cleveland Indians rookie Francisco Lindor was so excited about collecting his first major league hit that he tripped over the bag at first base during Sunday's game against Detroit.

The ball was hit into the right field corner and Lindor thought he could make it to second, but that fell through after Lindor suffered the faceplant when rounding first. Lindor joked that he was interfered with by Tigers first baseman Miguel Cabrera, which was clearly not the case and everyone knew it.

One thing's for sure: Lindor will remember that first hit for the rest of his life.
