Los Angeles Dodgers rookie outfielder Joc Pederson made one of the most outstanding catches of the season so far as he robbed San Diego Padres batter Justin Upton of a game-winning hit in the bottom of the ninth during Sunday's game at Petco Park.
With two outs and two runners on in the bottom of the ninth in a 2-2 tie, Pederson raced back and crashed into the outfield wall right after making the catch to send the game into extra innings. Upton couldn't believe it.
Pederson has been performing pretty well lately, so his teammates don't need to haze him with "MMMBop" walk-up music anymore.
The Dodgers won the game 4-2 in extra innings, so it's safe to say that Pederson snatched victory from the jaws of defeat.
