Mike Trout displayed his superstar fielding skills by robbing Chris Young of two extra base hits in Monday night's game in Anaheim.
The plays in the top of the third and in the top of the fifth were virtually identical, with Young hitting deep fly balls towards the warning track in left center field. In both cases, Trout ran full speed to chase them down, then leaped up to make the catches.
After the second catch, Young had this reaction:
Trout also made his presence felt behind the plate by hitting a solo home run in the game, leading the way for the Angels in a 4-1 victory over the Yankees.
