Los Angeles Lakers forward Nick Young, a.k.a. "Swaggy P", is getting married to Australian rap star Iggy Azalea, so you would think he would be somewhat familiar with her lyrics. Apparently that might not be the case.
Young was a guest on SportsNation this week and was tested to see if he could tell the difference between a rap lyric by his fiance and a rap lyric by teammate Kobe Bryant, who made his own album quite some time ago. Swaggy P was given four sets of lyrics...and only identified one of them correctly.
So, is it a bad sign for Young that he can't identify Iggy's lyrics? Or is it a good sign for Kobe Bryant that his lyrics are on par with Iggy's? Only time will tell.
