A San Diego Padres fan dove into the sand to snag a ground-rule double hit by Oakland Athletics batter Max Muncy in the top of the ninth during Monday night's game at Petco Park.
Muncy's deep fly ball to right center field bounced on the warning track and over the wall into the "Beach" area of Petco Park. The adult fan wearing a Tony Gwynn T-shirt used his height and speed advantage while scrambling to beat out several kids for the ball.
