New York Yankees television analyst Paul O'Neill left the broadcast booth to take a picture with Jimmy Fallon during Tuesday night's game as the result of a dare from broadcaster Michael Kay.
Fallon was sitting in the seats behind home plate, as he does from time to time. During the sixth inning, Kay dared O'Neill to run down to invite Fallon to be a guest on his YES Network talk show CenterStage. O'Neill came up with the idea of taking the picture as the excuse to talk to Fallon, while joking that security might end up hauling him away.
O'Neill headed down to Fallon's section and got his picture with the Tonight Show host at the start of the seventh inning, with Kay describing the event while calling the game. Here's the resulting photo, which includes Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels and former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani as an added bonus:

Apparently Fallon did agree to appear on CenterStage, so we'll look forward to that.
