Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi celebrated scoring 2 goals in 2 minutes by borrowing a chainsaw and wielding it for the crowd during the second half of Sunday's MLS game against the rival Seattle Sounders.
We understand that the chainsaw fits with the team's lumberjack theme, but allowing a player to operate one during a game could be downright dangerous. Hopefully the Timbers will put some stricter safeguards in place to protect their players going forward.
