Minnesota Twins outfielder Torii Hunter was hit the chest, or more specifically his "nipple part" as he described it, by an outfield throw to third base during Monday night's game against Chicago.
Hunter stayed in the game, although he admitted during a postgame interview that he was in a bit of pain:
"Cabrera threw a ball that hit me in my nipple part...and that hurt pretty good. But I got my wife here so she can rub it."It happened in the bottom of the fourth with Hunter was on third for a possible tag as a fly ball was hit to White Sox left fielder Melky Cabrera. Hunter bluffed running home to draw the throw from Cabrera, but as he returned to third, Hunter was nailed in the chest by the throw.
Ouch.
