The 2015 ACC Football Kickoff event was thrown a bit off the rails Monday when some profanity was discovered in the just-released ACC Football Media Guide.
The three-word phrase appeared on page 145 after a summary of the 2014 football results for all ACC teams and clearly was not caught during editing. The phrase has now been edited from the online edition.
ACC Associate Commissioner Mike Finn said that the inappropriate expression was "an inadvertent error" and "was not intentional in any way." Well, at least not by top ACC officials. Someone has to take responsibility, though, and will likely pay for it with their job.
