Oakland A's reliever Eric O'Flaherty beat up a water cooler after being pulled from Saturday night's game against Cleveland.
O'Flaherty was taken out of the game after walking the first batter of the eighth inning with a 5-2 lead. Upon reaching the dugout, he immediately punched the water cooler with a right hook and kicked it down the steps while screaming in anger.
Seems like a bit of an overreaction. After all, O'Flaherty was not in a position to lose the game, and he ended up earning the win as the A's held on to beat the Indians 5-4.
