Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Hernan Perez was forced to change his jersey at the end of the third inning of Thursday night's game in Arizona after discovering that he was wearing the wrong one.
In defense of Perez, it was the correct color jersey that Perez was wearing. The only difference was that Perez put on the jersey with "Brewers" on the front instead of the one with "Milwaukee" that everyone else was wearing. You have to wonder why the Brewers have two sets of road jerseys with identical color schemes, rather than have each jersey feature a distinctive color scheme. That just opens the door for embarrassing situations like this one.
For what it's worth, Perez hit a double in the third inning, his only hit of the game, while wearing the wrong jersey.
