Jacob deGrom punched a water cooler in the New York Mets dugout after being taken out of Thursday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
DeGrom exited after giving up a 2-run homer in the top of the sixth to give the Cubs a 4-1 lead. deGrom knew that there was no chance of the offense taking him off the hook, as the Mets have scored only one run in the last three games. No wonder deGrom is so frustrated. When are the Mets going to go out and get a bat?
